The authoresses are a pair of best friends who live an unfortunate distance away from each other. Both have written Harry Potter fanfiction for a number of years and the idea of writing a story together seemed natural. So instead of the normal things most friends do, like going to the cinema or shopping, they write this story series. "What is the Echoesverse? The Echoesverse is a nickname coined by the authors of the story Echoes of the Gods, an ongoing serial saga, to describe the entirety of the story and it's related works. Echoes of the Gods and its related works are fanfiction, heavily based in the Harry Potter universe, but with a dash of a few others, and some original characters thrown in as well. With the exception of the Harry Potter universe, story cannon is often twisted to suit our own purposes."

Well it's been about a year since an update has been posted, and to be honest I didn't think there was much interest still in the story. However, a recent review has reminded me that it was being posted here, and since the story has continued to be written even though it's not been posted, I'm reconsidering. Real life over the last year has been extremely hectic for many reasons that I don't intend to get into here, but it all finally seems to be settling down to where I can once again consider posting the story.
