Summary: This is a challege for the wonderful HD writers out there. The story is simple. I read a story about Draco turing into a girl and i felt in love with it. So my challenge is this: In this story, Draco was offered as a plaything to he-who-must-not-be-named by his father. The dark Loed prefered woman to man and he thought that Draco would make a beautiful woman. So he turn him into a girl. But before he could sleep with him, Draco managed, barely, to ecape. later on he is discovered by Harry or anyone you like. Your challenge is to make them fall in love somehow. If you wish for Draco to turn back to a guy that's up to you. As long as Harry fell in love with Draco as a girl. So yeah, That's the challenge. Summary: What if the Harry Potter world wasn't the Harry Potter world? What if Harry wasn't the Boy Who Lived? What if Neville wasn't even the other birth that the prophecy spoke of? What if all the things as we know it are not as we know it?

So, this idea has been whirling in my head for some time now and the more I read fanfiction, the more it plagues me. I'm not sure how well others will take to the challenge, but I'm throwing it out there and hope someone will find it interesting enough to write.

It's been done before, perhaps too many times for others to count, but what if the Harry Potter world wasn't the Harry Potter world? What if Harry wasn't the Boy Who Lived? What if Neville wasn't even the other birth that the prophecy spoke of? What if all the things as we know it are not as we know it?

The challenge is this.

What if the Boy Who Lived was someone else? Ronald Weasley? Draco Malfoy? Seamus Finnigan? Dean Thomas? Vincent Crabbe? Gregory Goyle? What if it wasn't the Boy Who Lived, but the Girl Who Lived? Pansy Parkinson? Hermione Granger? Luna Lovegood? What if these characters weren't the main characters? What if Justin Finch-Fletchley had more of a role in the book than he normally does? What about the Mauraders being alive and being the children instead of Harry, and the gang? What if the Dark Lord wasn't Voldemort and instead it was Dumbledore? Or Hagrid? Or Harry? Or perhaps the Dark Lord isn't a Dark Lord and is a Dark Lady, instead? Minerva? Narcissa? What if Lucius Malfoy truly wasn't the cold hearted man most love to hate? What if Sirius Black was the werewolf and Remus Lupin was the Potions Master while Severus Snape was the Grim?

The challenge I am bestowing upon you is as follows.

1) No character can be as we know them. Example, Harry cannot be The Boy Who Lived or a Gryffindor, nor can he be a Slytherin. Pansy Parkinson cannot be attached to the hip of Draco Malfoy.
2) The characters cannot all be paired in (Fem)Slash. There must also be het. You cannot pair the canon characters together. No Ronald Weasley/Lavender Brown. No Harry Potter/Ginny Weasley. I would like to see something different from Ronald Weasley/Hermione Granger, but they can be paired since so far, they're not canon.
3) If pairing Harry and Draco together, make their relationship nothing like canon. If pairing Severus and Harry together, make their relationship nothing like canon.

Basically, I am wanting something completely different from canon or the idea of canon.

Summary: Author's Notes: I would love to see this done. Got the idea when thinking about Sirius. The mirror of ice in Van Helsing that led to Dracula's Castle reminded me of the Veil in the DoM. When Sirius was a child his mother locked away his memories of his real father. Count Vladislaus Dracula. Dracula believed his son to be dead and went mad. But years later, when Sirius is thrown through the Veil, he is taken to Dracula's castle. His memories are restored, and his father comes back from madness. Sirius convinces him to renounce the Devil and Dracula agrees. He would still stay immortal though. He gives Sirius his inheritance, literally making him immortal as well. Sirius and Dracula both come back to Britain and Sirius names Harry his heir, giving him his inheritance. Where it goes from there, you decide.
